New Product - Launch
We're happy to announce a new product: Our first Bag-in-Box Grüner Veltliner Selektion 2009. For Austria's wine lovers this is a quite new experience. But this smart and clever packaging for a wine convinces everyone who uses it the first time ... enjoying the familiar quality of our Grüner Veltliner Selektion without the disadvantages of a glassbottle. Unfortunately, because of the DAC - Districtus Austriae Controllatus law, it is not allowed to quote any Bag-in-Box as a Kamptal wine.
Austria's most successful wine in Finland - our Grüner Veltliner Riede Stein (ALKO 526027) has a new competitor. The BiB Grüner Veltliner Selektion (ALKO 536468) has been launched at 5th of July in Finland at the ALKO shops. It is also available at our winery ... so try and you'll love this fresh and fruity summer wine!

Kamptal Wine Trophy - Light Veltliner
Our Grüner Veltliner Selektion has been awarded as the winner at the Kamptal Wine Trophy within the category "Light Veltliner" (< 11,9% vol.). US-Musicproducer and Grammywinner Harold Faltermeyer handed over the prizes.

DAC - Districtus Austriae Controllatus
The two main grape varieties, Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, have defined the Kamptal DAC since it was established in 2008. The region-typical wines with the Kamptal DAC designation must be made exclusively from the varieties Grüner Veltliner or Riesling. The additional "Reserve" stands especially for deeper, weightier DAC wines.

Our Riesling Selektion 2007 has been awarded with 90 points by A la Carte Magazine (Nr. 3/08), one of the most important Gourmetmagazins in Austria at the Grand-Cru-Listing.
